Responsabilities & Conditions of use

TEACHER’S RESPONSIBILITIES

1. SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

1.1. The subject of this agreement is to establish the responsibilities of a teacher who wishes to participate in the project FRANÇAIS SANS FRONTIÈRES (hereafter “FSF”).

2. TEACHER’S RESPONSABILITIES

2.1. The teacher agrees to respect the conditions of use established by the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act (hereafter “TFO”) in the context of the FSF project. These conditions are available on the FSF website.

2.2. The teacher will obtain consent for each participant in the FSF project, by way of a signed Release and Licence form from a parent or legal guardian, for each child (student or otherwise) appearing in a video posted on the website IDÉLLO in the context of the FSF project (the “Capsule”). In the instances where the participants have reached the age of majority, the teacher will obtain the consent directly from these participants, with a signed Release and Licence form from them. The teacher shall not publish a video on the website IDÉLLO showing any children whose parents or legal guardian has not given consent to TFO to use the voice and image of their child.

2.3. The teacher warrants, to the best of his ability, that the Capsules and their use will not infringe any intellectual property right of any person, and hereby releases TFO from all claims arising from the breach of the above warranty.

2.4. The teacher will give clear directives to the students in order to ensure that the Capsules do not contain any personal identifiable information about the student or any other person. The teacher will highlight to students the importance of complying with the rules and directions given by Groupe Média TFO, and shall take reasonable measures to ensure that all personal identifiable information about a child/student remains confidential.
