Levels of linguistic competence (CEFR)
The CEFR is essentially a reference tool established by the Council of Europe to describe and measure the mastery of a foreign language such as French, according to different criteria. In its course of learning a specific language, the student evolves and progresses through six different levels of competence. This document sheds light on these levels.
