Syrian refugees
In January 2016, Radio-Canada journalists followed Syrian refugees step by step after their arrival in Quebec to learn more about the stages of this transition to a new life in a new country. The series covers topics such as job searching, language learning and family are covered. Each episode leads students to open up to the world and the reality experienced by some members of their community: the fear, the unknown, the appreciation and the upheavals they experience on a daily basis. What can be done to ensure the well-being of newcomers near one’s home? To answer this question, we must first understand what they are going through, and that is what this series aims to accomplish.
