Forêt Larose

On June 2, 1928, to stop the damage caused by industrial logging, agronomist Ferdinand Larose dreamed big: to undertake a first plantation of conifers on abandoned farms near Bourget. Thus begins the story of the Larose Forest, the first French-speaking agronomist who himself planted 600 red pines. Since then, more than 18 million trees have been planted and people come from all over the world to admire this majestic forest.
