Amélie helps the owner of a fennec for one day and everyone is in aw with the animal (except Newton who is jealous). Boc still has not received the petition that Amelie promised him. He comes to see Amelie and gets impatient with Rachel, who then learns the bartering that Amelie has done to be able to reopen the shelter. Rachel and Billie insist on the idea of keeping animals in cages. Convinced that it is scandalous and cruel, Billie frees Mr. Gougoux, who disapaears in nature.
