Les yeux noirs
This short film for children is an animated adaptation of an award-winning novel written by Quebecois author Gilles Tibo. With great creativity, it tells the story of young Mathieu, who is never afraid of the dark because he lives in it, and who likes to play detective when his birthday comes.
Children will develop their inference skills using the clues provided in the video to predict what Mathieu’s birthday present will be. They will also better understand the daily life of a blind child, thus developing their citizenship and their openness to new perspectives.
