(Entrevue) Gail Joly, Chargée de projets communautaires pour les Premières Nations, Métis et Inuits

Interview: Gail Joly talks to us about her job as a project manager and community worker. A community worker who works with First Nations, Metis and Inuit has a good knowledge of the culture of the communities with which he interacts. A community worker offers intervention, prevention and direct support services to the target clientele within the community. He/she organizes activities and events to promote a sense of well-being and belonging. The actions of a community worker can be done individually or in groups. Even if the majority of the work consists of working directly with clients, a community worker is also called upon to write activity reports and other administrative documents.
