Sur les traces de l'empreinte écologique

The ecological footprint is a Canadian methodology that calculates the amount of land needed to support a certain standard of living. Following a two-part reasoning, Cosette and Aimé contrast the measurement of the gross domestic product (GDP) with that of the ecological footprint. The latter aims to capture all the environmental costs of our consumption, so that we can plan for long-term sustainable economic development.
