Faced with the numerous environmental threats to the waterways of the Innu territory, two young women who are passionate about canoeing recall the fundamental place that rivers, “the highways of the ancestors”, hold in Innu culture. A political and poetic documentary on the importance of preserving the rivers and valuing the Indigenous identity.
