Pagayons Ensemble
Pagayons ensemble is a mega program that celebrates and explores First Nations, Inuit and Métis in French Ontario! With the Anishinabe Page Chartrand, the Inuk Émilie Stanton-Bursey and the Métis Christian Pilon, you will discover the important place of their relationship with the land. They invite us to meet Indigenous people who share their knowledge, their traditions and their cultures.
In an open-minded perspective, each episode presents inspiring personalities who talk about their pride and their commitment to celebrate their cultures and to share them. Through songs, dances, beadwork and other art forms, this series immerses us in an authentic perspective that is rich in culture and knowledge.
Equally relevant to elementary and high school students, this series gives students the opportunity to engage in discussions and share their own culture while discovering the cultural identity of the featured personalities.
