Mes p'tits pourquoi?
Mes p’tits pourquoi? is a series of videos that answer children’s questions. Full of information, it presents simple explanations using animated images, illustrations and, above all, a lot of humour.
The series can be used by teachers to introduce more complex concepts in different strands of Science and Technology using very simple words and images, making them easy to remember. It can also be used to support discussions in French classes, as they are perfect opportunities to get students to think and interact. Teachers can also use the new vocabulary from the videos to initiate a variety of writing tasks: transferring the words learned in science to write informational or even narrative texts, short plays, short interviews, research, writing and filming their own videos, etc.
Mes P’tits pourquoi? encourages students to communicate by constructing their own questions. By asking questions, children’s critical thinking is stimulated, which makes their learning more interesting because it is more active, and therefore durable.
