Season 4 Episode 41 : Charles Larroque: CODOFIL's executive director

Charles Larroque was named president of CODOFIL, Louisiana’s French-existence watchdog. In 1968, the government created an organisation to promote French in the State: the Conseil pour le développement du français en Louisiane, aka CODOFIL. The agency setup French classes and, in 1983, the first immersion classes were born. Since then, some 20,000 Louisiana French students have been educated.
