Le rêve de Champlain
Champlain’s Dream is a docudrama series with six thirty-minute episodes about the life of Samuel de Champlain. It is based on the epic work of historian David Hackett-Fischer. Each episode consists of a mix of documentary explorations and historical reconstructions that allow students to experience the colonization of Canada. This series features a determined man who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, openness to others to create alliances, and multiple talents in writing, mapping, and more. Students will see the power of collaboration and initiative, and make connections between different spheres of their lives, whether political, economic, or social.
