Identité 2.0

How do Canada’s Francophones develop their sense of belonging? What is the notion of identity building in Francophone communities? How has this identity developed over the course of history? This series provides a realistic portrait of the issues that Francophones face on a daily basis, both in minority and majority communities. Topics such as accents, the French language at all ages, the digital Francophonie and the French language at school and at work are covered to help students realize the importance of French in their daily lives. It is important to appreciate and be proud of our language and culture. That is what this series of reports offers: the young and the old share their experiences and the sense of belonging they have developed for their language. Identity development, discrimination and community are at the heart of each episode as students make connections between what they see on the screen and their reality.
