Premier jour

Thomas becomes Hannah and is accepted into Hillview School for the new school year. But Isabella, a girl who went to the same elementary school, is also enrolled at Hillview and threatens to spill the beans.

Hannah apologizes to Isabella for her suspicions, since she has not said anything. But Isabella threatens to expose her. Hannah is very disappointed that she cannot sleep over at Jasmine's house after her birthday party.

Hannah eventually returns to school with the support of her family and the help of Olivia and Natalie. They block the nasty messages and convince the principal to allow Hannah to use the girls' bathroom.

Upon arrival at camp, Olivia admits her stress to Hannah about sleeping in the dorm. Hannah's courage pushes her to try to overcome this fear. Hannah has to face the fact that she doesn't have her period like the other girls.
