Citoyens du futur

This web series gives a voice to young people with a keen environmental awareness. Faced with the challenges of the future and aware of the urgent need for action, they set out to meet with experts to ask the tough questions and raise awareness among people of all generations.

If we knew more about how our clothes are made, would we make more informed choices? Is the eco-anxiety that particularly affects the younger generation an example of the interdependence between human health and the health of ecosystems? Can citizen mobilization truly make a difference in the fight against climate change? The topics covered in the series resonate with young people’s concerns. After watching the episodes, they can share their opinions orally or in writing—for example, by drafting an opinion piece or organizing a class debate. In doing so, they will develop critical thinking and communication skills.

Citoyens du futur challenges, provokes thought, and encourages community engagement. The series invites young people to reflect on local and global environmental issues in order to make responsible decisions. Viewers will discover role models of engaged citizens who are taking action to improve the quality of life for everyone, today and in the future.
