La Brigade

Inspired by Louis Riel and the resistance led by the Métis National Committee, Sara sets up a student committee, called La brigade, to negotiate the return of poutine to the cafeteria menu.

To prove that she's responsible enough to have a meeting room for La brigade, Sara takes care of Mrs Labossière's turtle.

Sara tries to persuade her parents to cancel a family evening so that she can go to Stéphanie's house.

Sara and Aby's friendship is put to the test when they both fall in love with Pablo, a new student at the school.

Sara and her father disagree about how to spend a school budget surplus.

When Mrs Labossière refuses to allow Sara the use of her intercom to make announcements, Sara sets up a student TV show to allow students to express themselves and share reports on school issues.

Sara wants Mrs Labossière to register the school for a conference at which the young activist Guylaine Iceberg has been invited to speak, but the principal imposes a day of kindness so that no one makes requests that she has to refuse.

The members of La brigade think that Mrs Labossière selects films that are too childish for the cinema evenings. Sara tries to convince the principal to allow the students to choose the film.

Sara is fed up with the cafeteria food and tries to influence Mrs Bizard to change her recipes. Éric wants to apply to take part in a reality TV show.

Sara is looking for a birthday present for her father. She's doing everything she can to break the school attendance record so she can give him the prize she'll win.

Sara wants the photos for the school yearbook to be original, but Mrs Labossière imposes a new rule that the photos must be ultra-ordinary.

Sara and La brigade criticise Mrs Labossière, who leaves the school. The students are delighted... but not for long.

Mrs Labossière invents a new rule to prevent students from challenging anything. Sara tries to convince her to abolish this rule so that everyone can challenge a school division decision that affects the whole school.
