Following the death of George Floyd in 2020—an African American man who died following a violent police arrest in the United States—and to speak out against racial injustice, a chapter of the “Black Lives Matter” (BLM) movement was formed in Sudbury in June 2020. The ONFR+ team followed two young activists from this advocacy group to learn more about their aspirations and hopes.
