Vautour and the Principal are trapped in a solar storm and adrift in space. They need to be rescued.

Falcon, preoccupied with the upcoming Captain Cosmos convention is ridiculed by the other cadets. He finds support from the principal, and the two form a special bond.

The principal, insisting that the Sun can rise in the West, makes a bet with Vautour. The cadets help the principal prove his point.

Condor claims to have seen a bright light in space but has no proof that he has actually seen anything. The cadets test out different hypotheses to determine what Condor could have seen.
