During a storm, a branch on Edmond's tree breaks. How does one treat a broken branch? Edmond discovers the usefulness of beeswax to protect the tree, and compares it to clay.

Edmond and Lucy discover the impact of rain on vegetable gardens and the capacity of soils to absorb water. They learn about natural phenomena such as thunderstorms and snow and rainfall.

Edmond and Lucy want to defend the vegetable garden against small animals. They'll soon learn that these little critters all have a role to play in the vegetable garden.

Trying to prove he's as strong as Édouard, Edmond accidentally destroys his beehive. Admitting his wrongdoing, Edmond learns that Edouard has made a new, more termite-resistant hive by digging out the trunk of a tree.

Lucy uses the reeds in the pond to build her hut. The reeds play an important filtering role in the marsh. To make the water drinkable again, the mouse friends teach Edmond how to make a filter.

Cleaning up the forest will disturb the bugs and small animals that use the leaves, branches and bark for shelter and food.

Édouard and Georges have a surprise in store for the kids: they're going to take them to sleep under the stars on the hill to watch the shooting stars!

A chick has fallen out of its nest. The Thing can't remember where the nest is. Edmond and Lucy must help the chick find its nest and its parents.

It's barter day! Everyone brings out their little treasures to trade. Everyone except Lucy, who isn't very interested in bartering. Édouard draws her attention to the incredible power of seeds.

For the spring festival, the children decide to thank the bees by preparing a show that pays tribute to their hard work over the year. Lucy discovers the ways in which flowers attract bees, in particular the Venus clog, a wild orchid.

It's autumn. Edmond and Lucy are picking chestnuts for food. When the wind starts blowing, Edmond worries about the leaves falling from his tree. Mima explains the usefulness of dead leaves in the forest.

Edmond and Lucy want to give Mima her favorite flowers: lilies. They decide to speed up the growth of the lilies. Is it a good idea to change the growth cycle of plants?

Mima tells the story of a bored monster in the snow who kidnaps people to play with them. The next morning, the children discover that Édouard has disappeared and spot strange footprints in the snow. In winter, nature behaves differently.

Lucy breaks the double flute entrusted to her by her father. Thanks to a friend, Lucy learns to discover the sounds of nature and the musical instruments it offers.
