Sultan is a small community located halfway between Timmins and Sault Ste. Marie in northern Ontario. Life has changed since the 1950s, when at the time there were more than 200 families with two sawmills, a grocery store and even a theater. The fate of Sultan, who now has 52 inhabitants, is like many small villages in northern Ontario that have become ghost towns. Here is the story of Jean-Marc, the only child of Sultan and his family who chose to make the sacrifices to stay peaceful in their paradise!
