Interview: Joseph Tarraf tells us about his job as an engineer. A mechanical engineer is called upon to work on a variety of projects. With his skills and knowledge in different spheres of science and mathematics, he designs, repairs and improves various mechanical systems and equipment, ranging from the manufacture of computer parts to that of airplanes, including systems of green energy like solar panels. A mechanical engineer can work in several industry sectors such as aerospace, energy, biomedicine or even manufacturing industries.
