For his second stop in Benin, Raphael becomes ecovolunteer in a team of villagers living near Lake Ahémé, a place where biodiversity is threatened. At their side, he discovers the importance of the mangrove plantation program.

In Victoriaville, Raphaël met a group of young people from Ontario and Benin who had come to Canada World Youth for an internship. They volunteer in various community organizations such as a collective kitchen and an organic farm.
