In the form of a traditional Haitian tale where spirituality and humor take place, Manman la mer tells the story of Marjolaine, 26 years old, who wants to reconnect with her cultural roots. Marjolaine inherited a gift of clairvoyance from her grandmother, much to her mother's dismay. She also suffers from a mysterious and incurable disease. To understand it, she decides to go to Haiti and it is there that she meets her roots, her culture and especially Manman la mè... her grandmother. This podcast is accompanied by the pedagogical scenario _Hier et aujourd'hui laissez-moi vous raconter..._ as well as a guide for teaching French as a second language at the secondary level entitled _Le balado théâtral comme mémoire vivante et expression de soi_.
