By visiting Ophelia's old school to collect the fruits of a small seed, the friends witness the life cycle of a flower. With its bright colors, the flower attracts pollinators that help transport its fruits and seeds needed for the germination of new flowers.

While visiting the ant's habitat, the magic bus discovers that each ant has its own role in their underground community and that the survival of all depends on the role played by each one. This is a great example of an interdependent population of organisms!

Ralphie decides to build an all-purpose robot to replace himself. But before he can master his creature, he must master the various systems in his body. Together, they review the bone system, the muscle system and the joint system.

The class is looking for a mascot for their soccer team. Ophelia suggests a butterfly. When they learn that butterflies can camouflage and adapt to their environment, they think it's a great idea. Their behaviors, movements and physical characteristics help the butterfly survive in their habitat.
