Abloni : L'export de la surconsommation

The overconsumption of clothing in North America creates significant environmental problems, which is why companies have been created to export clothing to developing countries, particularly Africa. Unfortunately, the impact of these exports is not always well assessed and is having a major impact on the local African economy: the textile industry, which is struggling to compete with imports of used clothing, is in danger. This documentary leads students to establish links between the economic, political and environmental factors that unite industrialized and developing countries, in addition to addressing the subject of overconsumption.
