La différence

Hugo sets off to find things that are big: from elephants to trees, to cities, to planets. He learns that tons of things can be big, like a large appetite or a big surprise.

Hugo can´t help but feel jealous when he is excluded from his group of friends, who are busy performing incredible yo-yo tricks. Felix and Lily help him understand the concept of jealousy until he feels happy again.

Hugo learns a lot of things at school, but he also learns a lot from his parents and his friends. He discovers that, sometimes, you have to make mistakes to be able to understand some things.

School is the perfect place to learn all kinds of things, like counting and drawing, for example. But school is also the ideal spot to meet all your friends.

Lily and Félix explain to Hugo that there are many ways to be nice. For example, you can help an injured person take care of their pets.

Hugo understands that it's important to be fair, that everyone is entitled to their turn on the sled or to an equal number of shared candies.

Hugo discovers what art is by looking at a series of strange and wonderful paintings, sculptures and photos. He also discovers that art can make you feel a real range of feelings.

Hugo thinks he´s a human because he has legs, eyes, ears, a nose and a mouth. But his pet tarantula and his sly monkey friend have all of those things, too! Félix and Lily help Hugo learn about the things that make someone a human being.

Félix and Lily tell Hugo about different types of professions. Hugo manages to find a job at a construction site.

Hugo is always thinking about something, whether it´s about his mom´s birthday or scoring a great goal.

Yeti, Hugo's friend, is so sad that he is crying his eyes out. Hugo doesn't know why, but he tries his best to comfort him. He brings him to the circus.

Hugo discovers that the brain is like a computer: it can record plenty of different things; both good and bad. Lily and Félix help him understand the way memory works.
