Double Pompon

When Pompon realizes that he's promised his parents a caving party, and Rita a fishing party, he's torn between the two. Not daring to tell the truth, he tries to reconcile the two planned evenings, coming up with convoluted excuses to justify his unannounced absences. But Rita is not fooled. When she discovers Pompon's double game, she's furious with him for lying to her. Pompon, sad and sorry, plucks up the courage to apologize to his best friend.
