When Pablo receives a birthday present after his birthday, he finds it very confusing. He doesn't want to open it because he doesn't know what's inside and doesn't like surprises.

Pablo is fascinated by Mom's electric whisk. He draws Mr. Whipper, and he and Tang become even more excited. Mr. Whipper makes a big mess!

Pablo goes to a cafe with his mom and receives an egg and spaghetti rings, but his food is upset. The spaghetti rings keep touching the egg, and the egg doesn't like it at all!

When Pablo can't find the words to tell Granny what he wants for breakfast, his friends must help him bring them back and transform them into what he needs to say.

Pablo sees a picture of a pineapple and feels the taste in his mouth, which won't go away. Soon, everything and everyone in the Art World looks and tastes like a pineapple too!

Pablo's mom is having friends over for dinner, but Pablo can't sleep because of the noise. He wants to get away and drown out the noise, but Tang just wants to party.

Pablo doesn't want to wait for the flan to be ready. He wants to eat it right away. He designs a controller like the one on the iPad to speed up time, but it creates problems!

When the bus Pablo and his mother are waiting for is late, Draff becomes anxious. He knows all the bus routes and schedule details, and he likes things to be on time.

Pablo likes to flap his arms. Wren says flying is even better and draws wings on Pablo. But he flaps his wings so much that he flies away, and the Book Animals have to go looking for him.

When Mom leaves an air freshener bomb on the counter, it's up to Pablo and his friends to stop The Odor Eater from eating all the smells in the house—including the pleasant ones!

Pablo thinks he'll fly away if he drops his pine cones. Draff disagrees, but when Pablo drops them, he floats into the sky, and his friends have to come rescue him.

Pablo discovers a scab on his knee and is upset. He's never seen one before and doesn't understand why it's stuck to him. But he soon learns that Billy Scab is there for a reason.

Pablo is surprised to learn that his face tells people things he doesn't know he can. He has no idea what his face does until the Book Animals help him find out.

Pablo is worried about the elevator at the mall, but with the help of his friends in the Art World, he learns what the buttons are for and how to get out safely.

Pablo loves Book Animals, but when he receives a new book with a spider in it, he finds the spider scary. But it turns out the spider is a little scared too.
