On s'expose - 9-12 ans

In the form of short three-minute capsules, On s’expose takes a playful, inventive and informative approach to sex education for 9 to 12-year-olds. Based on one theme per capsule and following the school curricula, On s’expose features two fictional characters: Leo and Emma. It is through them that listeners will have food for thought. In a mischievous tone, thanks to questions asked on the spot by young Franco-Ontarians, they answer the daily questions that young people ask themselves on aspects that are directly related to their sexual health.

The series aims to inform, entertain, and approach with a respectful sense of humor situations that are sometimes considered taboo. By promoting diversity and avoiding stereotypes, On s’expose approaches sexuality frankly and authentically from a perspective of global health and inclusion. In addition to the 24 capsules for 9 to 12-year-olds, six capsules were produced for teachers, school staff and parents. An accompanying guide has also been designed to equip teachers before and while presenting the capsules.

On s’expose leads young people who are at the very beginning of puberty or in the process of going through it, to better understand what they are going through and to develop skills that are essential to a healthy development: self-reflecting, asking questions, establishing positive and respectful relationships, thinking critically, and managing their physical, emotional and mental well-being.
