La journée nationale des langues autochtones

Warning note: the word 'indien' is used in this video. Because of the recognized educational value of this resource, the TFO Digital Learning educational team has decided to continue to present it to IDELLO users. Since 1993, March 31 has been known as National Indigenous Languages Day. Aboriginal peoples in Canada celebrate this day to honour the strength and endurance of their languages and cultures. Language is a vital tool for Indigenous peoples as it plays a key role in transmitting values, spiritual and traditional beliefs and their entire history from generation to generation.
