The Women's Memorial Walk: a walk that began as a small ceremony for Cheryl Ann Joe, but has become an annual event in memory of all missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirited people in Canada.
May 5 is also Red Dress Day, a time of reflection and tribute to missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirited people.
