Members of the Attawapiskat First Nation, a Cree community in northern Ontario, were thrust into the spotlight in 2012 when the dire living conditions in their community became a topic of national debate. In this documentary, the Abenaki director Alanis Obomsawin discreetly captures the stories of this community, highlighting a past of dispossession and indifference on the part of the official powers.
