Les illusions

Olivier (11 years old) enjoys playing tricks on people. His lower legs are missing but when he wears trousers and his prosthetic legs, nobody knows. It’s a kind of illusion. Your eyes can play tricks on you, and so can your ears and your nose. But why do our senses sometimes get it wrong? Olivier wants to know more and experiments with illusions. He discovers that illusions can make you believe that you’re lifting a heavy box, that you’re very small, or that you’re touching something that isn’t really there. Olivier gets better and better at tricking senses and uses a simple conjuring trick to beat a super strong shot-put champion.
