Tisser un avenir durable

The textile industry is at the heart of the industrial revolution of the last centuries. It is also one of the most polluting industries on the planet. As soon as you wear it, you throw it away. More and more textile waste is cluttering up our landfills. However, it is possible to redefine the industry and give a second life to the clothes and fabrics of our daily lives. If the industrial revolution was the cradle of a society of mass consumption, the new revolution is one of repair and hope. A hope made possible by Sarah Bonnemaison and her idea lab, Dany Filion and her bamboo textile business, Yanne Larosa and her textile waste recycling business and, of course, the owners of Kitsch'n Swell. Each of them is adding a stitch to the fabric of a future they hope will be sustainable.
