KAPSUR SHAPATU sur la Côte-Nord au Québec

Shapatu is a young Innu passionate about music and the performing arts. In the Uashat mak Mani-utenam community on Quebec's North Shore, he introduces us to his way of life and his community. At a very young age, he began playing guitar and learned to use a radio console. At 15, he was already hosting a musical radio show in Innu. At 17, he performed in a theater troupe touring Quebec and expressed his love of his culture through his music. Inspiring and curious, he introduces us to his world. He takes us into the forest and shares with us the sweat lodge ritual, before sharing the emotion of one of his theatrical performances.
