Touch is an invisible force in human nature. Not only does it perceive small elements that the eyes cannot see, but its role is also vital in our lives. It influences our physical and cerebral capacities and our well-being. Today, touch is undergoing a real revolution. Science has pushed back its natural limits thanks to technological touch: it is now possible to virtually touch objects that are invisible or located thousands of miles away. A simple gesture in the air is enough to control them. Medical technology has even succeeded in giving a sense of touch to bionic limbs, made of metal, plastic, cables and processors. Slowly but surely, prostheses are becoming more powerful than natural limbs. Ten years ago, no one imagined that we would get to this point so quickly. Virtual touch will become part of our daily, emotional lives. Where will this revolution take us? To a sense of touch... unlimited!
