Laurent receives the photos he made as a model and is devastated when he sees the results. He is reluctant to present his mother's sculptures at the craft fair at his school for fear his friends will laugh at him. The two accomplices Sam and Alice are on a mission to prove that Mrs. Kelleur is a witch. Sam breaks into her house and discovers the mysterious hat that moves and laughs.
