Laurent is invited to go camping without parental supervision. His brother, Sam, overhears the conversation. Sam asks Laurent to do his chores in exchange for his silence. Sam is then trapped in the secret room and unbeknownst to him, he learns that this room is also the home of Edgar and Farfouille. This is the first little squabble of the two friends. After various compromises, Edgar and Sam as well as Laurent and his father rectify their friendship.
