Can we really trust the answers provided by AI? Sometimes, Theo feels like Servo is telling him nonsense... while sounding very confident. Some answers seem clear, credible, almost too well-formulated to be questioned. However, behind this confidence lie less reassuring mechanisms. Generative AI relies on data of varying quality and does not always distinguish between truth and falsehood. Biased information, dubious sources, misleading content: everything can get mixed up. The more accurate the answer sounds, the more doubt creeps in.
