How can we know what is true when images, videos, and even voices can be fabricated from scratch? Theo is in shock after seeing an ultra-realistic video that was shared with him. These AI-generated contents, called deepfakes, circulate on social media and blend in with the news. Some images make us laugh, others worry us, but all of them play with our perception. Between videos taken out of context, catchy headlines, and mass-produced content, doubt sets in. What seemed obvious is now much less so... and sharing becomes a less trivial act than it appears.
