Jean-François is determined to find out why so many musical instruments, such as flutes, horns and organs, are made of cylinders. Children investigate to find cylinders around them, including some wind and percussion instruments. Others are challenged to build musical instruments from cylinders. We explore the use of cylinders to move sound, air and liquids.
