Îles Falkland

Falkland Islands, Malvinas, or Falklands? In French, they are officially called the Malouines Islands, but those who live there call them the Falkland Islands or, simply, the Falklands. Located nearly 500 km off the coast of Argentina, at the tip of the continent, the archipelago is made up of 200 islands with a population of 2,800. Most imports come from England: food, clothing, furniture, and cars. Even the houses arrive prefabricated in containers! Only sheep meat produced on the islands is consumed locally and exported.
