Dan, 11, lives in Jerusalem, Israel. Dan is Jewish, like the majority of the people of his country. Built on the ancient biblical land of Palestine, the State of Israel was created in 1948 to provide a nation for Jews who had survived the concentration camps and no longer wanted to return to their home country. It is therefore a young modern state that Dan introduces us to, but also a holy place for two other important religions: Christianity and Islam. From kotel, a place of prayer for Jews, to the Arab souk, Dan and his parents meet people from all backgrounds and cultures. A trip to the heart of a country that looks almost like a world tour!
