Hae Lang : au pays des cerfs-volants
Hae Lang comes from South Korea. She is 10 years old. Her family immigrated to Quebec only one year ago. She quickly learned French, but as it takes longer for her parents to assimilate the language, she is the one who helps them adapt. Camera in hand, she takes us to her language school, to her family, and shares with us her difficulties of integration and her memories of Seoul. It is not easy to change culture, but Hae Lang sees the good side of this transition: in Canada, everything is bigger!
