marijosée

Happy as a clam on stage, the Franco-Manitoban marijosée dives headfirst into the Queen City with a visit to Canada's new Ripley Aquarium, the largest in the country. As she explores the underbelly of the aquatic life of thousands of species, the singer-songwriter shares with us the background of her musical journey and her passion for singing. She and her team then set out to explore the cobblestone streets of the popular Distillery District in a Segway electric vehicle, before stopping for a sweet treat at Soma's Artisan Chocolate Factory. The singer talks about her ambitions for the Quebec and French markets, and about her career as a full-time elementary school teacher before her solo career took off. The trio ended their stroll around a pool table at the popular Rivoli bar on Queen Street, but not before marijosée performed three songs from her latest album Tout cuit dans l'bec, namely 'Promesses de la fontaine', 'Mouche de moutarde' and 'Notre tapisserie tombe'.
