It is with a coffee in hand that Rayannah begins her tour of Toronto. The young Manitoba artist talks about her French-speaking origins, but also about her Mennonite community, whose teachings have helped pave the way for her musical career. Rayannah tells us about her love affair with the loop pedal, an instrument that is an accomplice in her electro-folk style of music. She describes her relationship with her native French language in a minority setting and explains her decision to dive back into it artistically. At the archery center of the E.T. Park, she takes the opportunity to throw a few arrows at the music industry, denouncing the gender inequalities that still sometimes persist today. After a stop in a small organic grocery store, Rayannah gets on a Bixi bike to discover the streets of Cabbagetown. She ends her Toronto visit under the sun, by having a picnic with her musicians in Corktown Common Park, but not before opening the door to her musical universe with three French songs, including 'Delphine et Marylou', a nod to her passion for cycling.
