This engaging educational experience for students in grades 6 through 8 is designed to help them explore the various aspects of digital citizenship. After watching an excerpt from the episode “La citoyenneté numérique : Comment agir en cas de conflit ou de dispute?” from the series Le Pigeon rassembleur, we’ll share useful tools they can refer to when posting a comment on social media or online. This is an excellent opportunity to review different sentence structures. In a guided and structured manner, students will draft a text message befitting a good digital citizen. Finally, students will have the chance to self-assess their digital citizenship skills using provided prompts.
