Noëlville

On the banks of the magnificent French River, we step back over 300 years into the history of this wild and wonderful Ontario. The document could be entitled 'Chronicle of a disappearing village'. But never mind! People like Claude Mayer, Armande Monette-Pitre, René Lahaie and many other descendants of explorers and valiant pioneers have decided to face adversity again. Solutions are envisaged to save and redirect the destiny of the village, which is rapidly being emptied of its young and old. In this episode, the moving meeting of a couple, Simone and Omer Quevillon, married for 65 years, now separated for lack of a shelter in the village that can accommodate them both.
