Parc national de la Pointe-Pelée, Ontario

Jean-Luc Brassard explores Point Pelee National Park in southwestern Ontario. At 15.5 km2, it is one of the smallest national parks. Jean-Luc will have the opportunity to chat with an ornithologist about migratory birds. An ecologist explains endangered tree species, the reintroduction of flying squirrels, an island conservation plan and cormorant overpopulation. Jean-Luc helps restore the savannah, canoes through the marshes and stops off at Middle Island in the middle of Lake Erie, the southernmost point in all of Canada!
